The work is interesting and variable and I enjoy working closely with the customers.
When I started working at Mirka in 2001, Abranet was a brand new product. At that time, we didn’t quite understand how revolutionary product we had at our hands and how dust-free sanding was about to change the whole sanding industry. Abranet has been a part of my Mirka journey ever since, and it has been fantastic to see how it has affected our end users’ health and safety.
The variable work is motivating. Also, I enjoy working with people who share the same passion and motivation in working towards the same goal. People are willing to perform their best and to develop in their careers.

Sustainability has always been important for Mirka. The processes have been developed and the environment has been in focus. For example utilizing waste for heating is something that we can be happy about. Also, throughout the years, equality has become more and more important, which really shows here at Mirka. Women can reach all the same positions as men, and anyone with the right motivation and attitude can develop in their careers.
As KWH group is a family owned business, us employees can truly feel being taken care of. We are encouraged to participate in in different activities and wellbeing of employees is in the focus of the employer. The owners have a positive impact on the whole local community and are committed on developing the business and all the activities also in a long run.
At my spare time I charge my batteries and try to maintain my wellbeing by for example taking long walks and going to the gym. It is important to stay physically active and also to clear one’s head from all the stress. This is how you are able to continue working well and contributing to the work community in a positive way.
