Join us in learning more about the inspiring story of George, a woodworker and carpenter who didn't give up, with the help of Horizon Health Network, the largest regional health authority – and one of the largest employers – in New Brunswick, and the second-largest health authority in Atlantic Canada.
George is a true inspiration. After sustaining a spinal cord injury 17 years ago, he was set on continuing his work as a woodworker and carpenter. He set out with deep determination and with the help of the occupational therapists at Horizon Health Network he is now able to resume his woodworking.
George decided on our Mirka DEROS to have adapted by the team at Horizon Health Network because of its light weight and because its dust-free sanding features and benefits. The dust-free sanding is an important characteristic because George cannot easily put his mask on or off. Because of the light weight of our DEROS and its dust-free capability, George can sand for longer periods of time.
George also stated that our DEROS sander is quiet, easy to operate and gets the job done faster.
