Accountable to: National Sales Manager IND & T&I – Line management
Business Sector Manager CD- Activity Supervisor
Responsibilities: CD Sector Sales on area
Hunting & Farming for New Business
New Business Development
Activities in line with Sector Strategies & Business Plan
Main Duties:
- Report activites to National Sales Manager & BSM on a monthly basis
- Develop existing and prospective new business
- Regional relationships, networking.
- Actively develop & extend Mirka product range into customer base
- Present, demonstrate and sell Mirka Abrasive sanding systems
- Attend and Exhibitions and trade shows
- Regularly visit and maintain and develop national account customers at regional level
- Take part in Mirka training programmes
- Complete Mirka administration requirements: BSC, Sales Cloud and MirkaNet
- Ensure Sales Cloud is maintained to Mirka standard
- Create and maintain Opportunities in Sales Cloud with potential in excess of £5K
- Ensure all conduct and tasks performed meet the required Mirka standard
- Achieve sales and project targets that will attract bonuses
- Carry out any other reasonable management request
- Have regular communication with Business Sector Manager UK

- Knowledge of UK Construction & Decoration Sector
- Sales experience
- Experience in dealing with

- Administration / IT / Systems Skills:
The role requires the employee to be physically capable of:
- Driving between 30-40,000 miles p.a.
- Staying away 1 to 2 nights per week on a regional & national basis
- Ability to present to a senior management level
- Lifting heavy items in and out of company vehicles
- Manning trade and exhibition stands for consecutive days
- Handling and demonstrating power tools, abrasives and polishes
- Walking around customer / end-user premises and sites
