Mirka® DEROS II 77mm
The Mirka® DEROS II 325/350CV is a unique sander with a smaller 77 mm pad size. It's great for sanding hard-to-reach areas - it's small in size, but big on performance. A brushless motor and either 2.5 mm or 5 mm orbit for fast stock removal. Experience effortlessly efficient sanding with our best-in-class random orbital sanders.

Panel Repair
Stage 1
De-grease
Surface preparation is key. De-grease surface prior to sanding.
Remove paint
Remove paint from repair area and feather out egdes.
Use P180 Disc.
Apply Filler
Apply filler to damaged area.
Apply Dry Guide Coat
Use Mirka Dry Powder Guide Coat, available in white or black.
Sand Filler
Sand filler area.
Use Mirka 70 x 125mm hand block and Mirka P120 Strip.
Sand the area
Re-apply Mirka Dry Guide Coat and sand again with Mirka P180 strip.
Feather Edge
Feather out paint edge, using Mirka P180 disc followed by P320.
Inspect the repair and move to stage 2.

Paint Preparation
Stage 2
Preparation
Prepare area for primer using P500 disc.
Apply Dry Guide Coat
Apply Dry Guide Coat to primed area. Use Mirka Dry Powder Guide Coat, available in black or white.
Sand primed area
Use Mirka hand block and Abranet® P320 Strip.
Sand Primer
Re-apply Mirka Dry Guide Coat and machine sand the primer. Use P500 disc with an interface pad.
Blend
Blend area by machine, we recommend the Mirka DEROS 350CV.
Use a damp Abralon® P1000 77mm Disc.
Expand
Expand the area if fading into existing paint work.
Use damp Abralon® P2000 then 3000 77mm Disc.
