How to change a Mirka DEROS backing pad

Changing your backing pad regulary helps to keep your MIrka DEROS in tip top condition. You will need the spanner which was supplied with the Mirka DEROS.

  • Unplug the Mirka DEROS, so there is no power to the machine.
  • Turn the sander onto it's back, so that the lever is in the base of your hand.
  • Slide the spanner onto the locking nut between the backing pad and the machine.
  • While holding the machine and the spanner, rotate the backing pad anti-clockwise.
