Changing your backing pad regulary helps to keep your MIrka DEROS in tip top condition. You will need the spanner which was supplied with the Mirka DEROS.
- Unplug the Mirka DEROS, so there is no power to the machine.
- Turn the sander onto it's back, so that the lever is in the base of your hand.
- Slide the spanner onto the locking nut between the backing pad and the machine.
- While holding the machine and the spanner, rotate the backing pad anti-clockwise.
