Mirka dust extractors are M or L Class.
Choose the correct dust extractor class
L Class (Light): Occupational exposure limit value > 1 mg/m3. Filters 99% of all extracted dust.
Suitable Mirka dust extractors: DE 1025 L, DE 1125 L, DE 1230 L
M Class (Medium): Occupational exposure limit value > 0.1 mg/m3 as well as exposure to wood dust. Filters 99.95% of all extracted dust.
Suitable Mirka dust extractors: DE 1230 M, DE 1242 M
In addition, Mirka offers a HEPA filter for the DE 1230 M and DE 1242 M dust extractors. Please note that adding a HEPA filter does not change the class of the dust extractor.
The responsibility of choosing the correct dust extractor is always with the end user. In any unclear situation, contact your local health authorities.
New introduction to the Mirka dust extractor range
New: Mirka® DE 1125 L Dust Extractor
As well as an antistatic capability, the new DE 1125 L adds a more powerful 1200W motor to improve dust extraction and usability. It is an L-class dust extractor.
The compact and easily handled Mirka DE 1125 L is suitable for wet use as well as dry use, when the dust bag is removed. It also features an auto-start function. The dust container volume is 25 litres.

Mirka® LEROS Holder
Fit your Mirka Dust Extractor with a special holder for the Mirka LEROS or LEROS-S sander. The purpose-built holder adds extra convenience for using the Mirka LEROS together with Mirka 1230 or 1242 dust extractors.
Just place the LEROS wall sander on the sturdy, easily mounted holder where it will wait for the next step in the process. Together the Mirka LEROS and a Mirka dust extractor are a complete package for construction, decoration and effortless sanding of large surfaces.
