For optimal dust collection, especially when using coarse abrasives, it is highly recommended to use the Mirka dust should in combination with the pad saver or interface. The importance of the dust shroud is accentuated when the height of the machine is increased. Using the Mirka pad saver and dust shroud together enhances the overall performance of your sanding tasks by effectively managing dust and debris. This not only keeps your workspace cleaner but also extends the life of your sander. To mount the dust shroud, first locate the rotating arrows on both the dust shroud and the housing of your sander. Align the arrows carefully. As you stretch the dust shroud into place, take care to keep the arrows aligned. This ensures that the dust shroud is properly attached and ready to use.
